IDC have confirmed MicroStrategy founder and CEO, Michael Saylor as the key speaker for its forthcoming Middle East CIO Summit, hosted at the Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai on 25th – 26th February.
Hosted for a second year under the esteemed patronage of H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the UAE’s Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, the event is being driven under the theme of ‘IT meets business’, placing emphasis on the importance of aligning IT and business functions at a time when introducing the latest applications should be developed in tandem to achieve operational efficiency.

IDC have also confirmed the introduction of six workshops based around its IT executive programs, designed to help today’s time constrained IT executives make more effective technology based decisions. In addition to the workshops the summit will retain its popular vertical-focused tracks, which will this year concentrate on the government, banking and finance and the energy sectors.
