Global Hotels Management Africa (GHMA), an affiliate of the Dubai-based Global Hotels Management, is will be launching the Ramada Nairobi hotel as owner and operator, expanding on its work with the brand at the Ramada Hotel & Suites in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

For the Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG), a leading hotel group with approximately 7,500 hotels, the franchise agreement also represents the first property in Kenya for the group, and adds to an existing presence on the continent in Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco and Tunisia.

The four-star hotel, projected to open at the end of this year, will offer 64 guest rooms and 25 suites and will be located on Wangapala Road, approximately 19km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and situated in the affluent Westlands area of the capital city.

Ramada is a global chain of nearly 830 midscale and upscale hotels where each hotel is independently owned and operated, except for certain Ramada hotels outside of the US, which are managed by an affiliate of the Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.
