Founded by Hakeem Disu, the precision-agriculture services company focuses on modern technology, market access, and climate-smart solutions for producers.

Kadara Agric (site) is a precision-agriculture services company that helps farmers and agribusinesses transition to smart, sustainable practices. The startup’s mission is to support this transition in Nigeria, framing Kadara as part of a growing push toward data-driven, efficient farming systems.

Hakeem Disu, founder of Kadara Agric, is a business strategist and consultant with experience across technology-adjacent domains, underscoring the firm’s positioning at the intersection of agriculture and modern tech-enabled services.

Speaking of the company’s goal, Disu said in a recent interview, “…. the emphasis on our mission promoting organic farming, sustainability, and healthier outcomes. We provide services like access to agricultural inputs, farm support, and advisory solutions. Our mission is to help farmers increase yields, minimize waste, and truly profit from their labor. At its core, it’s about transforming farming from a daily struggle into a source of pride, opportunity, and long-term sustainability.”

    Business Model and Focus Areas

Kadara Agric’s goal is to empower African farmers through modern techniques, market access, and climate-smart solutions aimed at strengthening food security and creating more resilient value chains. The company operates through a services-led approach that blends on-farm practice upgrades with commercial enablement, with a focus on urban areas.

This model allows high-value perishables like vegetables, habanero, and bell peppers to be grown closer to consumers, while rural areas remain focused on cash crops such as cocoa and oil palm. Highlighting the success of similar approaches in regions like Europe, America, and China, with the Netherlands at the forefront of greenhouse innovation, Disu stressed that decentralising food production could strengthen local food security, reduce costly imports, and cut reliance on long supply chains. He also noted that bringing technology-driven farming into cities could make agriculture more attractive to Nigeria’s youth, proving that “farming is no longer restricted to rural villages – it can be done conveniently in urban environments, even from the comfort of one’s home.”

    Why It Matters

By centering “smart” and “sustainable” methods, Kadara Agric aligns with the broader precision-agriculture trend: reducing waste, improving input efficiency, and building climate resilience. Its focus on market access indicates attention to the commercial end of farming—helping producers link improved practices with actual buyers and better margins, a critical step for scaling adoption of new techniques. These priorities are presented consistently across the company’s own materials and external coverage.
