    IDC launches IT executive programs for CxO’s across META

    IDC have extended their existing executive IT programs from the U.S to new markets across the MENA region and Turkey according to a recent statement from the company. The announcement comes as the company prepares to gear up for its Middle East CIO Summit, taking place in Dubai on the 24th February.

    Placing emphasis on the value of innovation, the executive programs are focused on developing the understanding of how new ideas and innovative processes can be used to support all facets of an organisation, and in turn give a clearer idea about how new ideas can be developed and promoted. This year’s CIO Summit is running under the theme of ‘IT Meets Business’, a concept that is very much reflected in the makeup of the event’s agenda

    Speaking on behalf of IDC, vice president and managing director of IDC META, Jyoti Lalchandani, commented the courses were, “Designed with the needs of IT leaders, enterprise architects, and line-of business heads in mind, our IT executive programs comprise a unique family of bespoke research and advisory option and offer unprecedented peer group access to IDC’s exclusive Technology Advisory Council.

    This year’s CIO Summit is running under the theme of ‘IT Meets Business’, a concept that is very much reflected in the makeup of the event’s agenda, and while the summit has long attracted the region’s foremost technology leaders, this latest installment will host a much more diverse range of corporate strategists, with representatives in attendance from the fields of marketing , finance, accounting , operations, and HR , to name just a few.

    Some of the themes prepared during this years CIO Summit include ‘Leveraging collaboration of achieve optimal business outcomes’, and ‘Fuelling innovation and profit through benchmarking.’ Each program will be hosted by a senior member of IDC’s international team including Joseph Loiselle, group vice president.
