    Africa Global Business Forum 2015 commences in Dubai

    The 2015 AGBF commences in Dubai, hosting more than 40 African, UAE and Arab leaders

    The third Africa Global Business Forum (AGBF), is underway at The Atlantis Hotel in Dubai with more than 40 leaders from Africa, UAE and Arab world in attendance. Hosted under the theme, ‘New Drivers, New Partners,’ this year’s forum is anticipated to receive over one thousand delegates.

    Commencing with a welcome address from H.E Majid Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, honourable delegates involved on the first day include H.E Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of Somalia and H.E Mohammad I. Al Shaibani, executive director & chief executive officer, Investment Corporation of Dubai. Hosted under the theme, ‘New Drivers, New Partners,’ this year’s forum is anticipated to receive over one thousand delegates

    Covering a wide range of topics and sectors, the Africa Global Business Forum features a series of panel discussions and social opportunities which enable the political and business elite to discuss both ideas and strategies, which will contribute towards the ongoing development of the African continent. This year’s forum is hosted by a number of sponsors including, Investment Corporation of Dubai as title sponsor, DP World, strategic partner, DMCC, platinum sponsor and gold sponsors, Dubai Islamic Bank, MiDCOM Group and Nakheel. The forum’s official airline carrier is Emirates Airline and the official partner is Standard Bank.
