The Tanzania Pavilion in Lagos will showcase food and beverage products while supporting business-to-business engagement and trade with Nigerian and international partners.

Tanzania Seeks Stronger Nigeria Trade Ties at FAB 2026 Exhibition

Tanzania is seeking to deepen trade and investment engagement with Nigeria through its participation in the Food & Beverage West Africa (FAB) 2026 Exhibition, scheduled to take place at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to reports, the Tanzania High Commission in Abuja (site) said the exhibition would provide an opportunity to strengthen economic diplomacy, expand market access for Tanzanian products, and support commercial partnerships across Africa.

Tanzania Pavilion to Showcase Export Products

The Tanzania Pavilion will showcase a range of authentic Tanzanian products. The Commission said: “Visitors are invited to explore the Tanzania Pavilion at Booth 3E06, Hall 3, where a rich selection of authentic Tanzanian products will be on display.

“The exhibition will feature some of Tanzania’s most sought-after products, including premium tea and coffee, fine wines, cashew nuts, spices, spreads and dips, as well as a variety of other value-added food and beverages.

“Renowned for their quality, unique flavors, and growing international appeal, these products reflect Tanzania’s commitment to agricultural excellence and value-chain development.”

    Platform for Trade Promotion

Beyond product exhibitions, the pavilion is being positioned as a platform for trade promotion and investment engagement.

The Commission said: “Beyond product exhibitions, the Tanzania Pavilion will serve as a strategic platform for trade promotion and investment engagement.

“A delegation of Tanzanian private-sector companies and industry representatives will be present at the event to facilitate Business-to-Business meetings and explore partnerships with Nigerian and international buyers, distributors, importers, retailers, investors, and hospitality industry stakeholders.”

    Strengthening Tanzania-Nigeria Trade Relations

The participation forms part of efforts to strengthen trade relations between Tanzania and Nigeria, while creating new opportunities for commercial partnerships.

The Commission said: “The participation of the Tanzania High Commission aligns with ongoing efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy and deepen trade relations between Tanzania and Nigeria. It also underscores Tanzania’s commitment to expanding market access for its products and fostering mutually beneficial commercial partnerships across Africa, in line with the AfCFTA mandate.”

Opportunities in Agribusiness and Food Processing

The Commission also said the exhibition would offer businesses access to new opportunities within Tanzania’s agribusiness and food-processing sectors.

Visitors to the pavilion are expected to gain first-hand insight into Tanzania’s competitive advantages, export potential, and opportunities in food manufacturing, processing, packaging, and distribution.

The Commission added: “The Tanzania High Commission warmly invites business leaders, investors, importers, distributors, hospitality operators, and members of the public to visit Booth 3E06 in Hall 3 to discover the taste, quality, and business opportunities that Tanzania has to offer.

“Visit the Tanzania Pavilion at FAB West Africa 2026 and connect with Tanzanian producers, exporters, and business leaders shaping the future of African trade and agribusiness.”
