Africa PPP Summit 2023 – AME Trade announces the 13th edition of the longest-running Public-Private Partnerships event in Africa.

AME Trade has announced the 13th edition of Africa PPP, a leading African infrastructure investment summit. Taking place from October 24th to 26th, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca in Morocco, the event, hosted and supported by Morocco’s Ministry of Finance and Economy, aims to foster the exchange of ideas and best practices among stakeholders, facilitating the acceleration of infrastructure development and investment in Africa.

AME Trade Ltd is an event management company headquartered in London. It has over 20 years of experience in organizing conferences, exhibitions, and trade fairs across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Africa PPP Summit- Accelerating infrastructure development and investment

Africa PPP, the longest-running Public-Private Partnerships event on the African continent, anticipates the annual gathering of policy makers, procuring authorities, development financial institutions, infrastructure investors, private sector players, and other stakeholders. The summit offers an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and best practices, focusing on the challenges and opportunities for accelerating infrastructure development and investment in Africa.

Building strong partnerships for infrastructure investment

As part of the Summit, attendees can benefit from an interactive pre-conference masterclass capacity-building training session titled “Project Preparation for PPPs: The Why? What? When? Who? And How?”

Over the course of two days, keynote presentations and discussions will revolve around crucial topics, including enhancing national capacities to identify, develop, and structure bankable projects, establish robust legal and institutional frameworks, secure funding and financial support, explore emerging trends and innovate in infrastructure debt and legal structures. Morocco’s new era of infrastructure investment will be examined, and case studies from other developing countries will be studied alongside how to unlock the potential of PPP in water infrastructure.

    Key players

The 2023 edition of the Africa PPP Summit is poised to bring together policymakers, key stakeholders, and private sector players involved in infrastructure development and investment in Africa. This event provides a platform for networking, learning, and exchanging ideas, all geared toward overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities for infrastructure growth across the continent.

With an expected turnout of over 300 attendees from diverse regions, the summit offers unparalleled opportunities for partnership, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

In May, AME Trade announced the Mining On Top Africa 2023 edition, set to be held in July.
