Senegalese logistics innovator Logidoo bridges Europe and West Africa via Morocco hub.

Logistics startup Logidoo (site), founded in 2020 by Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, is scaling its pan-African trade operations by launching a new corridor linking Belgium to its existing Casablanca–Dakar route. This strategic expansion solidifies Morocco’s role as a gateway for European goods destined for West African markets.

    New Belgium–Casablanca–Dakar Route

Logidoo’s latest corridor is enabled by a partnership with a leading Belgian logistics provider. It offers scheduled consolidated shipments connecting Belgian hubs with Morocco and onward to Senegal and beyond. The service includes parcel drop‑off and collection for both B2B and D2C clients across the route.

    End-to-End Pan-African Logistics Services

The corridor features a fully integrated suite of logistics solutions: from storage and customs clearance to last‑mile delivery, cash-on-delivery, and secure remittances. This end-to-end offering allows European manufacturers and e-commerce platforms to penetrate African markets with fewer logistical hurdles.

Market Access and Morocco’s Rising Role

Logidoo’s CEO, Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, emphasizes broader ambitions: “The Belgium–Casablanca–Dakar corridor reflects our ambition to establish Morocco as a regional logistics hub, channeling and redistributing goods from Europe to West Africa”.

This move positions Morocco not only as a transit point but as a value-adding distribution centre, reinforcing its significance within the Africa–Europe trade ecosystem.

    Scaling Presence & Business Impact

Now active in Senegal, Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, and Tunisia, Logidoo has built an extensive logistics network, onboarding over 3,000 providers, completing more than 100,000 operations, and supporting upwards of 400 clients to date. Backed by a US$1.5 million funding round last year, the company has moved quickly to execute its bold growth strategy—including the launch of Afridoo, a platform designed to streamline online sales and equip African merchants with the tools to thrive in digital commerce.

Why It Matters for Investors and Trade Partners

    • Enhanced Trade Efficiency: By integrating customs, financing, and delivery, Logidoo reduces friction and costs in supply chains spanning Europe and West Africa.
    • Morocco as a Logistics Pivot: The corridor underscores North Africa’s pivotal role in streamlining Africa–Europe commerce.
    • SME-Friendly Access: European SMEs can now test African market entry with reliable, end-to-end solutions.

Logidoo’s expansion to Belgium represents a milestone in pan-African logistics development. As the company grows its network and deepens its cross-border services, it exemplifies a new generation of African logistics tech platforms bridging economic regions with professionalism and infrastructure.
